Solution for Injection
COMPOUND
Ivatyl tar 20% solution for injection; It is a yellowish clear solution and contains Tylosin tartrate equivalent to 200 mg of Tylosin base per 1 ml.
UNDESIRED/SIDE EFFECTS
If the solution is not brought to body temperature during injection or in sensitive animals local irritation and pain at the application site may occur. Petechiae may be observed in the skin and serous membranes. Vomiting rarely occurs in cats and dogs. Allergic reactions are rare in hypersensitive animals. Necrosis and hemorrhage may occur with intramuscular administration. Tachypnea may occur in cattle.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
It cannot be mixed with other solutions in a syringe. May cause precipitation of active ingredients. Phenicols, aminoglycoside, lincosamide and other macrolides are antagonistic to tylosin. Therefore, they should not be used with the product.
It should not be used together with drugs metabolized by liver microsomal enzymes and phenobarbital.
SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSE, PRECAUTIONS AND ANTIDOTE
The therapeutic index of tylosin is quite wide, overdose is very difficult to detect. If an overdose occurs, the use of the product is stopped and the necessary symptomatic treatment is performed.
WARNINGS ABOUT DRUG RESIDUES IN FOOD
Drug residue wash-out period: During the treatment and from the last drug use, sheep, goats and cattle should not be sent to slaughter for 28 days and turkeys for 5 days. During the treatment and from the last drug use, goat and sheep milk obtained for 4 days (8 milkings) and cow milk obtained for 9 milkings should not be offered for human consumption.

The veterinarian should be consulted before use.
It should be kept out of reach of children.
If an unexpected effect is observed, the veterinarian should be consulted.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE APPLICATOR
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and in case of contact, wash skin and eyes with plenty of water. Hands should be washed after applying the medicine.
