INDICATIONS
For the prevention and treatment of skin mycosis in dogs caused by Dermatophyte Microsporum canis. Animals should be vaccinated at the age of 2 months and up.
Immunity develops within 1 month after revaccination and lasts for at least 1 year.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
General febrile illness, Pregnant female dogs should not be vaccinated.
Other immunoprophylactic interventions should not be performed for one week before the first vaccination and up to 14 days after the second vaccination (or the third, if appropriate) (except in cases where the BIOCAN vaccine series has been administered).
SIDE EFFECTS
Appropriate local reaction (usually the size of a pea) may occur at the injection site, which disappears within 3 weeks. Hypersensitivity may occur in rare cases.
LEGAL PURIFICATION PERIOD FOR ANIMALS WITH FOOD VALUE
Not intended for animals bred for food.
COMMERCIAL  AMBALAJ  SHAPES (TOTAL DOSAGE AND FILLING VOLUME FORMS)
The vaccine is filled as 1 ml into a 3 ml vial, secured with a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminum cap or flip off cap  . Vials are placed in plastic boxes.
Approved leaflet is attached to each package.
A) Plastic box with lid with 20 compartments:
20 x 1 ml Biocan M Plus vaccine
10 x 1 ml Biocan M Plus vaccine
2 x 1 ml Biocan M Plus vaccine
B) Lidded plastic box with 100 eyes:
50 x 1 ml Biocan M Plus vaccine
 100 x 1 ml Biocan M Plus vaccine
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
 
STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
Store in the refrigerator (between 2°C and 8°C).
Protect  from freezing.
Protect from light.
The shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale is  : 18 months from the date of manufacture.
 
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PHYSICIANS
To user: No special requirements. The inactivated strain is used for the production of this vaccine.
DISPOSAL OF WASTE AND UNUSED PRODUCTS,
Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste material resulting from the use of such veterinary medicinal product should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.
